Things to do in Czech Republic
Prague's castle, cathedral and Old Town lead the way, with easy day trips to a UNESCO ossuary and a sobering WWII memorial beyond the city. Start with a city below to see what's worth booking.
Prague is the obvious starting point – a compact, walkable capital where Prague Castle, the cathedral and the Old Town are all within reach of each other, with the Vltava river running through the middle of it.
Beyond the city, day trips reach two very different sites: the ossuary at Kutná Hora, decorated with the bones of tens of thousands of people, and the WWII memorial at Terezín. Both are manageable as a half-day out from Prague.
